📋 Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using n8n AI Builder ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the Extension.

2. Description of Service

n8n AI Builder is a Chrome extension that helps users create n8n automation workflows using natural language. The Extension:

Accepts text prompts describing desired workflows
Generates visual workflow diagrams using Mermaid syntax
Provides AI-powered suggestions for n8n automation
Requires users to provide their own API credentials for AI providers

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 API Credentials

You are responsible for:

Obtaining and maintaining valid API credentials for your chosen AI provider
All costs associated with AI provider API usage
Keeping your API credentials secure and confidential

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Extension only for:

Creating n8n workflow designs and automation concepts
Learning about workflow automation patterns
Generating legitimate automation suggestions

⚠️ Prohibited Uses:

Generating malicious, harmful, or illegal automation
Attempting to abuse or overload AI provider APIs
Using the Extension for purposes unrelated to n8n workflow creation
Reverse engineering or modifying the Extension
Using the Extension to violate any laws or third-party rights

4. AI Provider Integration

The Extension supports integration with the following AI providers:

OpenAI - Requires OpenAI API key
Anthropic - Requires Anthropic API key
OpenRouter - Requires OpenRouter API key
z.AI - Requires z.AI API key

        Note: Each AI provider has their own terms of service, pricing, and usage limits. You are responsible for complying with your chosen provider's terms.
    

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Extension Ownership

The Extension code, design, and branding are owned by ITbox Development & Provisioning. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the Extension
Remove any proprietary notices
Use the Extension branding without permission

5.2 Generated Content

Workflow diagrams and suggestions generated by the Extension are provided for your personal use. You may use, modify, and implement generated workflows in your n8n instances without restriction.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
Generated workflows will function correctly in n8n
AI-generated suggestions will be accurate or suitable for your needs
The Extension will be compatible with future versions of Chrome or n8n

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

ITbox Development & Provisioning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
We are not responsible for costs incurred through AI provider API usage
We are not liable for any issues arising from implemented workflows
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Extension (which is $0 for free usage)

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ITbox Development & Provisioning from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Extension
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Content you submit through the Extension

9. Third-Party Services

The Extension integrates with third-party services (AI providers, n8n). We are not responsible for:

Availability, quality, or pricing of AI provider services
n8n platform functionality or changes
Third-party privacy practices or data handling

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, without notice, for:

Violation of these Terms
Abuse of the Extension or AI provider APIs
Any other reason at our discretion

You may terminate these Terms by uninstalling the Extension.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
